We woke up to a lovely sparkling snow filled sleepy town this morning. The quiet is both shocking and surprising at the same time, and it is a wonderous thing to see people walking up and down the middle of the street where normally the cars whizz by. The most fascinating thing about the snow? On any normal day in England passersby rarely look each other in the eye, let alone talk to each other...Jamie tells me its something about the British sense of reserve. But on this day not one person walked by without a smile, a snowy comment or even a quick hello. THIS is monumental.

SNOW in the UK! Must be like being at home!
It was so pretty, didn’t last that long, but was lovely while it lasted!
