no tea after 12

Ok...it may not look like much to you but I re-posted all of my old posts to my NEWLY DESIGNED BLOG! (I should really tell myself to shut up more often, cus' man there was a lot of posts!) Big HUGE squishy thanks to my hubby for the new layout! I'm loving it, hope you are too. 

So, yeah, it's been awhile folks. And rather than apologize profusely for my lack of blogging, and promise that I'll never leave you for that long again, and get down on my knees and beg that those of you who have gotten fed up with my lack of posting and subsequently left me for dead, will come back and enjoy this blog again. Yes, rather than saying all of that...I'll just say, HI. It's good to be back. I've missed you. 

I will confess to a few things just so you know what I have actually been up to in the past few weeks months *hangs head in shame*. Well, in an effort to rack up a bit of extra cash through the holidays, I'm back to work in the real world (sort of) selling make-up and skincare at a fancy schmancy shop in Guildford. Yes, I'm still doing all of my writing - and working on that infamous book project I prompted you about so long ago - but sadly those things have had to take a back seat to paying off actual bills. So I've been working, in retail, in the run up to this Christmas. And for those of you who know me, you know what this is doing to me...which is another reason I haven't been around lately, but I digress.

My friend Darren summed up the Christmas retail experience better than I ever could so I can't take credit for the following statement, but I feel it's important that I share it with you here...working in retail at Christmas makes liquid humbug bleed out of my ears. 

I even watched Elf yesterday and that didn't help. I repeat, watching Elf did not put me in the Christmas spirit. I fear all hope is lost for me this year. Don't tell Santa, mmmmkay?
